Well, in the "This Is Jeopardy!" book published 4 years ago (and I have it), it said she was the 1st and only 5-time champ, winning $23,800 (maybe that was alluding to her biggest one-day total), page 30. So this would lead me to believe tat the $48,350 was her 5-day total.

Uh, I don't think so, because when I watched a Super Jeopardy! Montage, Elise Beraru appeared on it with winnings of $48,350 ($96,700 for today's figures)...and she was only a quarterfinalist in the 1985 Tournament of Champions in which there was no prize for quarterfinaliists that time...
