Saying that the popularity of films like Brokeback Mountain means that there is no more homophobic discrimination is like saying that the popularity of artists like Louis Armstrong meant that there was no racial discrimination before the civil rights movement.

Dude! You've really done your research on this! Excellently presented. I've heard about half of these, thank you for enlightening me, and others about all those examples. ALso, I didn't know about the whole movie specifics either. I hadn't even heard of "Crash" before the award show. Way to logically rape the arguments of the Mr. Thompson! Thank you! :)
Also, I like the way you presentedthe video, splicing it the way you did.

I know we arent aloud to donate blood, but why? i am in the medical profession and all of the donated blood is processed, i am just wondering have they given a buy-able reason for this or is it just there?

Number 17? Really? The boss stopped saying "hi". Really? How is something like that reported? It doesn't measure up to the other examples you have provided.

The work you have done here Sean is amazing. Michael Moore should get in touch with you. With the Supreme Court ruling coming up, it would be great for some of these stories to come out. You also present these stories in a Michael Moore style...only abbreviated.

@MacMorrighan That IS a very informative list. He did the research for that?! That in itself is impressive. I would like to see that posted on YouTubes and Facebooks everywhere. It is even more important now that Prop 8 is moving into the Supreme Court.

well, first off...your hot. Second, I like your way of expressing yourself. I can't put my finger on the type of humor. It isn't sarcasm. I might be irony. Your posting casts a bright, no, a VERY bright light on the blatant hypocrisy of the homophobic population. They keep claiming that gays want "special" rights. They claim that we already have equality. They claim discrimination against gays doesn't exist. At least 2K people have watched your posting and have been exposed to the truth.

@ballsdanglin, your comment ("a flamming homo gets to overturn the voters? on gay marraige? wtf? the d*ke & f***ots are tring to take over the world! kill them all!") was not just disrespectful and unncessary, but downright juvenile and pathetic. Your comment has been taken down, and you have been blocked from my channel.

Cute & smart... I'm in love... unless already taken...then I'm respectfully admiring from a distance. :)

Awesome, video ! It absolutely dogmatic to say that gays are no longer discriminated. Especially, when they can't even donate blood. Even though a sex worker just has to wait a year before giving blood. Yeah that's right you can be an unprotected prostitute and your blood is still considered cleaner than a gay person's. Even if they are completely monogamous. Even if they still use a condom in that relationship. Great job Ted Thompson.
As a general message, to those who are posting flagrantly inappropriate comments, your comment will be removed, and you will be blocked from my channel.

BTW, Sean, where'd you find that powerful list at? I'd like to spread it around, myself... :o)
GAY POWER (as we used to say), though I once saw a sign in a documentary which read "An Army of lovers Cannot Fail"--I love that!

@MacMorrighan, I compiled the list through online research as well as from accounts of friends and those I have met.
