Physiologic training will occur in our MAD machine. This stands for Multi-Axis Disorientation and involves strapping into a rotating apparatus designed to train the student for the sensations of space travel. Similarly developed by NASA in the 1960s for use in the training programs of the Apollo and Gemini astronauts, this gyroscope has enabled astronauts to become comfortable with the simulated experience of weightlessness and the roll and tumble associated with outer space. Over the years, a similar program was also introduced into many of the Airforces around the world, so that similar devices could train their own jet fighter pilots. Our machine has been built and tested for high safety standards, and it can accommodate children and adults alike, up to a maximum of 250 lbs. Call Incredible Adventures at 1-800-644-7382 for full details.
