-giving birth is the most painfull thing a woman can feel in their live, but when you see you re baby all the pain disepears you cant even remember it 1 hour after giving birth! -
This is not true!!!! I don't know why women say this..

I really don't know. I'm from Holland and they don't give you any over here. I had a natural home birth twice( without drugs ) and is was the mos painful experience i had. BUT while giving birth I felt so strong and so powerfull i knew that i could do it somehow.

oh and it weird that Europe labor and delivery units don't have anesthesiologist available on staff 24'7 specifically stationed in the unit special for births. We are talking about moving to the uk for a job offer my husband received and I want at least 3 more babies so I hope i can find another hospital in London that works just the way the one i went to works as far as birth otherwise I might just pack up my baby and come back to the states to give birth and then come back to London after..

Plus what nice about us births you don't have to share a room with anyone.. before or after. of course the hospital i was at was 3rd on the list 5 years in a row ranked by 5 countries best hospital in all categories in us

What I don't like from what ive seen in videos of Europe births is they don't give you iv's with sodium chloride aka fluids to keep u hydrated and that if you receive pain meds during labor its in your leg or butt not in an iv. I like the way the hospital I went to provides med services during labor I would never have a baby anywhere else or any other way.

I find it odd that people on here are posting that us hospitals are inhumane and its ether and epidural or nothing. Not true.. When I gave birth they gave me fentanyl and then I walked around a bit then they gave me a bit more cause I requested it so I wouldn't feel the pain of contractions and move during the epidural and every time my epi would stop working they up the dose of the epi and if you request more pain killers they give them.. and they dont force you.

-
@sooouuuuper go grow up!
-
@pinkypoopz because i say so
-
@sooouuuuper why should she?
It looks like she was in a very humane hospital, unlike the majority of US hospitals, where it's either an epidural or nothing.
Epidurals don't always work.

UK hospitals are very good despite what some people say and best of all NHS means free health care, my wife did`nt have or want a epidural with our first 2 children and she feels the same with our 3rd child due in feb

What is she breathing? Why did this come up under "natural" childbirth? How scary and creepy-why would you show this with no explanation of what's going on??
Sucks to you for posting this one.

this IS a natural birth, the thing she is breathing is called Entonox (often called gas and air)a form of mild pain relief, the belts around her belly monitor baby heartbeat and you also monitor the strength of the next contractions by looking at the numbers.
