To be quite honest, though I can't wait for Alice... I'm more excited to see the Houdini musical. TNBC was practically a musical and I think it's Elfman's strongest musical work. I'm glad I'll get to hear more of his lyrics as well as his music.
Sondheim is a musical genius though. Him and Elfman are 2 of my favorite composers. If you ever have the opportunity, look into the musical Assassins. It's pretty good.
I agree with Burton and Elfman being terrific together, but I strongly disagree with Depp. To me, him and Keanu Reeves are the two worst actors out there today. They just ruin every movie they're in.
