2. No more hot dogs, sausages, or pretzels - That's right, amazingly enough the guys who invented those things were NOT WASPS, they were GERMAN CATHOLICS. @willyrobinson That is not what I am saying. I am just pointing out the contributions made by immigrants. My main point is that there is no "American" culture. I am white as well, but I recognise where all the cultural parts of America come from. The only thing that was NOT brought from overseas was Native American culture. I am just pointing out that America IS a nation of immigrants, we are all descended from immigrants and our culture reflects this. You seem to be making my point for me

Southern WASPs didn't make (irrelevant item X in scheme of civilization) lets attack them w/ it. next week when German midwesterners interests are threatened we'll use the same argument against them. then italian-americans in then northeast. then white cubans in florida, then the french folks in louisiana, etc. ad nauseum. I was aware of the theory that Native Americans came over the land bridge from Asia to Alaska but I can thank "Professor" Rick Barber for informing me of the theory that Europeans teleported to this country and became "Americans" with no immigration process in between whatsoever.

1. Christmas is not celebrated - That's right, the Protestants, that you apparently love did NOT celebrate Christmas, that is a CATHOLIC thing. In fact the whole idea of Santa Claus and putting presents under trees was brought in by (wait for it) DUTCH IMMIGRANTS. Thus, no TRUE American will ever leave presents

Wow, Mr. Barber, I have just one question for you, did you ever take a history class. Stating that we are Americans and independent shows that you have no idea of how our culture came around. WE ARE A MELTING POT OF PEOPLE!!! OUR CULTURE, OUR CUSTOMS ARE THE COMBINATION OF EVERYONE ELSE'S!!!

Just as with your attack on religion, you show that you have not given so much as a cursory glance to our Constitution or to our history and heritage (the very same one that you claim to be defending)
