Weninger shot 232 with no taps, Messer stoned a 9, packed a 10, also a critical 7 pin....left a 4 pin on a slightly high shot. Had he got a 7 count on his fill ball, would have forced a mark. Congrats to Weninger because he's going to win a lot, but Messer has to wonder what if??? I thought Messer was toast against Reyes in the semi-final, but Messer went off the sheet from the 5th I think and came back. He also swept out Bryon Smith, so he can't feel too bad.

That 6-count could have been very big at the end of that one match, b/c if he got a better count, he would have forced his opponent to mark.
