At the HODR base in Leogane, Haiti, one volunteer created and spread a dance to the insanely popular Waka Waka song by Shakira. After teaching it to both the locals and the international volunteers, she took it to the streets. I was lucky enough to be volunteering at the time and even luckier to have brought my camera.

As someone that was there and is in this video... You have no idea how happy it made the locals to see a bunch of blancs making fools of themselves... There wasn't a single person out there not having a good time. As volunteers, we chose to engage the community in many ways, we were not an unapproachable NGO, we were (and are) there to help.
