I played it for the lightside ending of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. For Revan's redemption, After he found and boarded the Star Forge, Fought and redeemped his love, Bastila Shan, killed Darth Malak his old student, destroyed the Star Forge. Revan could not do this without all of the help of his friends: Bastila Shan, Carth Onasi, Mission Vao, Zaalbar, Canderous Ordo, Juhani, Jolee Bindo, HK-47 and T3-M4 they're not just his friends, but his family.

has nothing to do with god rewarding them. i think that "god" is a bit of an exaggeration of their opinion of 3PO, and they seem to catch on to what a dork he is after a while. in the novelization they had a decent understanding of the empire after 3PO explained and decided to help only after wicket gave a speech. they did suffer a lilttle bit under the empire too, which basically regarded them as animals.
