Granted, the notion of pushing a dado head through instead of pulling seems at first glance to be less than desirable, but in practice doesn't pose any special liability on the R.A.S.. In Jon Eakes highly regarded work "Fine Tune Your Radial Arm Saw", he's more concerned with the splintering effect it leaves on the initial cut, if not pre- scored first. Again too, as with any sawing operation, a sharp tool is your best friend.
Very good. I like the dowel jig stop. I'll use that idea. Pushing the dado through the stock made me a little nervous. A slight loosening of grip, disaster.
