  • wow! nice playing but is this a old folks home band or something? looks like most of the band members are old folks

  • Not everyone is old. There are members from college age and up.

  • He did a good job. I played this in front of a crowd of about 1,000, and it's a really tough piece to play, especially when the nerves are kicking in...but I really do not like the little additional notes thrown in (1:00, for example). The original composition is wonderful and the poetic license taken here is distracting and takes away from the piece.

  • some people play because they love it, and we're not pros, but we do like a challenge in our music... criticizing people because they aren't playing like some version of a record is unfair. we are all trying to have a good time and make music. . . no, I'm not even in this band, but I do play in a community band and I'm 60 and the youngest one in the band, and we are playing this in our next gig. . . .

  • I honestly love the added notes sure its not 'original' but it adds a little style, and I like that :)

  • In 8th grade, gotta play this for solo ensemble.

Really cool piece, especially when other people can't play it. x)

  • I'm playing this in my school band and I'm only in seventh grade. It's only really hard around when the other instruments kick in, because it's not too easy for me to hit the high G.

And by this i mean, i play it on the trumpet.

  • my band teacher wants me 2 learn the trumpet part on Baritone T.C. when im in 6th grade (i am the best but still for a 6th grader really)

  • Good effort!

  • my 9th grade band has to play this

  • awww i have to play this for contest....

  • I don't think you should add so many emblishment to this song, especially it is called A Tribute to Leroy Anderson. Please stick to the original of what the composer wrote. It is not a Baroque piece. Also, you may want to know that the D and E on top of the staff are always flat and the G and A above the staff are always sharp.

  • @aaronwon1985 Looks like a community orchestra. Has a nice sound.
