As you guys might know i'm a huge fan of shm'up games, it's right up there for rhythm games for me.

So when Ikaruga came out for the Xbox Live Arcade, I got it, played on it for a few hours, and ended up with this video probably being the most impressive one.

For those who don't know what Ikaruga is, just wikipedia it: the Dot Eater mode is a mode wherein you absolutely do not fire a single shot or charged lazer, and just simply collect as many bullets as possible.

Stage 2 makes this pretty difficult because of the mass amount of blocks in your way, as you can see. If you don't position your ship just right, touching them is instant death.

You can also to the leaderboards on the Xbox360 and look up "Dot Eater", "Hard" and "Stage 2" to see my ranking there and download this replay to your 360 yourself.

Did you play this before when it was on the Gamecube or is this your first time playing it? Cause you are good at it.

i played it a few times in arcades but this is probably like, my 10th or so time playing the game, and my 2nd attempt at dot eater on stage 2

Pretty much.  Or at least that the little stripe between the wings is all that matters when checking for collisions with ships or with bullets of the opposite color. (Those of the same color are absorbed by the shield, which is bigger.)
