Sometimes there are people who do not like Buddhism in Korea, and so they dress up and shave their heads and pretend to be a monk, and doing so they make Buddhism look inferior so that for whatever reason Buddhism no longer flourish, but instead turn people from the Buddha-dharma. That is very sad. I am a Korean Buddhist, and seeing this honestly breaks my heart.

That's not a real monk. A real monk don't stand in the streeet selling items for profits like this fake guy, I think this guy is trying to defame and humiliate Buddhism. What he did was a great evil and he will pay in hell. real Buddhist monks do not do this.

This is very common practice for snake oil salesman, fortune teller, cult leader etc.
