U.S. military service members who served in silence or were discharged under the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' (DADT) policy talked about their experiences as part of a November 4 panel discussion held at Lehman. The panel also discussed the history of DADT, current case law, and the pros and cons of repeal. The event was sponsored by Lehman's Office of Veterans and Military Affairs, the Counseling Center, and the Rainbow Alliance Student Club.
In this segment: Denny Meyer, a U.S. Navy and Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War era. He is currently the National Public Affairs Officer and Veterans Affairs officer with American Veterans for Equal Rights.
