"Cuo Tui" as taught by Coach Ma Jianguo and Li Baoru

The trick is to get your opponents weight on his front foot and then change direction quickly. Remember to place your hand just above the opponents knee.

Go for gold!

  • @87mma87 Why? Jujitsu (at least brazilian jujitsu) is all about fighting once you're on the ground. Shuai Jiao is all about getting someone to the ground. These styles compliment each other more than they'd be useful for fighting against one another.

Coming from a BJJ player and Chinese martial arts enthusiast.

  • Fantastic! I was having a conversation today about the effectiveness of controlling the face/neck in grappling, and then I came across this lovely little throw. Love shuai jiao, and love this sneaky technique!

  • For all Shuai Jiao-holics:

Make sure you check out the Shuai Jiao tutorials posted on our channel.

    Peace!

  • They need to make a video on Shuai Jiao vs Jujitsu.

  • Wow this form is much different from the others.

  • "Mistaken leg" - good name for the technique. Very simple idea, probably requires quite a good deal of sensitivity.

  • u probably dont know....but are there any places in new york? ill look it up.
