Officially hit over 1,000,000 views! If it registers at least 2,500 views a day for a week, I will do a new bass video with my viking horns.

ORDER our EP or just listen to this and other whole songs at www.myspace.com/viraemiaaz
Viraemia recording at Castle ultimate studios. Scott (me) playing "Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation" Check www.myspace.com/viraemiaaz for new songs

It is a 10 string bass. I built it with a 34" scale and it is tuned in fourths from D (an octave below drop D on a normal bass) to B. If you have a problem with calling it a bass ( which is short for bass guitar) then call it what you would like, or consult the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy (free at http://plato.stanford.edu/ ) on the problem of the many and or Sorites paradox.

It is not a War guitar.

And if you think that my music 'has no soul', it is not my fault, I am a ginger.

Thank you for all the supportive and interesting comments.

  • Sorry man, I guess I am just really frustrated because I don't want to see another perfectly unique band like this get lost in the dust. I guess I just forgot that real people with real lives are the cogs that make this wretched beast of a sonic machine work. I understand and thank you for the good music. Peace.

  • @xSpArTiChRiSx Thanks. Peace!

  • Hey Scott. Record a new album already for fucks sake. Your Viraemia Myspace has been fucked for like 3 years. I can't even order any hoodies. I'm starting to think this band doesn't even exist anymore. And after allot of us have paid for your Ep and your shirts and nik-naks don't you think it would be nice if you at-least kept your fans updated, instead of promoting the living shit out of this video?

  • @xSpArTiChRiSx What promotion? We have had some setbacks that we don't want to make public and we are currently trying to fix the situation. We do this for fun, not for profit. If people happen to enjoy it enough to support it, then we can share it. We recorded this when we had enough of our own money to go to the studio and we are not as lucky as we once were. I hope we can fix our situation and get an album out and merch to who wants it. Thanks for still wanting to support us through this.

  • stil prefer my 4 string bass ;)

  • @cultofd your comment made my day

  • @Cookieonbass

Where I come from people dont get down to this, you'd never meet a girl or have any fun.

I play bass and guitar and I personally think it should thump not sound like a record at 78 bpm, as a guitar player it's always sad when it tries to get emulated. The closest it comes is some older moog/keyboardists from the 70's. Bass should just sound like a bass it sounds bad as a guitar

  • @kenich420 well if you think about it, guitarists are always complaining about how easy the bass is (whn we all know it isnt). if bassist can do this sorta shit then guitarist wil have nothin to say hahaha

  • These basses are retarded, no digs on the bass player, I don't understand what the point of doing rakes and arpeggios on a bass is. The concept of a def unique style, with hi-pass freq is interesting but people don't get down to this stuff, I mean normal people

  • @Metalcorable Who can't?

  • Theres a fine line between metal and overboard....... Who am i kidding? Its a darn thick line and you just crossed it

  • yeah but will it blend?

  • @kingherold47

No idea why it broke off like that...

    -cough-

    @justinbernal1

    *Bible [because I'm OCD]

And the genre means nothing, there's plenty of Christian Death Metal bands out there.

With Blood Comes Cleansing and Impending Doom are pretty good... neither of them have a FREAKING TEN-STRING BASS though.
