"You and Me" - Samson C01U Sample and iMovie '08 4-clips

A super short cover of Lifehouse's "You and Me." I ordered the Samson C01U and received yesterday, so I had to mess around with it. I recorded the 4 audio onto Garageband, while having Photobooth record me playing and editted it with iMovie '08.

The guitar parts were quickly done, though, I'm a little eh about the "solo" part (the clip on the right hand corner).

Thoughts on the Samson C01U. This microphone is really convenient, and actually really good. The raspiness you hear in the background is not from the microphone, but the distortion effect I had on Garageband. Great microphone!

@soshib0y On garageband, I used a distortion effect on the top right corner clip. Without it, the microphone was pretty clear and crisp.

@JYUkulele its not black, you start by getting a picture or still image and make that the bottom layer, then you size up the four videos and put them in an order that works. If you CHECK OUT(Riot) my video I did the same thing but one screen is just video clips of other stuff. Anyway when I did it I had to be mindful of where each screen was going otherwise some video's would cut off the side or top or bottom neighboring video. Hope that helps.

@soshib0y condensors microphones are usually for soundproof studios so as to pick up all the sound so if you dont have a quiet room u r better off with a dynamic mic
