@bit50s I was 7 at the time of the Bicenntenial when this song was a Top 40 hit. I know it hit the Top 5, but didn't make it to No. 1(too much competition, I guess! XD)

I was in my Last year of Chiropractic College, in Davenport Iowa in 1976. Dr. Wayne K. and myself probably blew many a speaker listening to this full blast!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a Pontiac Convertible, White with Blue Interior, had my Automatic Radio 8 track player playin this song over and over...you had to have the drop top convertible to really enjoy this song. the wind, the moon, the bay......

Summer of '76 on this one. My dream car was a '69 big block Corvette, I bought one in March of that year and was cruising with the tops off that summer. I'll never forget it...still got the car.
