There's nothing wrong with showing real emotion over someone else's brave deeds. It's better that the fake emotion we are usually subjected to on radion and TV.

I did a radio program with her for BFBS in the 70's she was fit then very sexy, and still is.

I didn't actually hear this the first time around, though I did hear Sarah on the following morning's show when she denied having an "on air blub" (as one news article put it), but a bit later in the programme she began crying again when referring back to the story that moved her on the previous day's show. Perhaps dailymirror can put that one on here as well.

This isn't the first time I've heard a Radio 2 presenter become overwhelmed with emotion live on air - I remember hearing Jeremy Vine cry on his show, when he was in conversation with a mother who had lost her husband to cancer, and she was describing the effect it had on her children.
