Dale Earnhardt Jr ALMS Corvette Crash and Fire Infineon

Dale Earnhardt Jr raced in an American Lemans Series Corvette in 2004 at Infineon. In practice, he had this scary crash where he suffered only minor burns. Earnhardt later said he clearly remembers someone pulling him out of the car (he is obviously dazed after the hit), but in the video, you can see nobody is there to do that.

Just think how bad that would have been if he was still wearing the open faced helmet!

the best thing that came out of the horrible crash that took dale sr's life is how much safer racing has become! especially in NASCAR!! I'm sure Dale would be proud that he helped save alot of othere drivers lifes when they realized even the best could get hurt!!

@yaoisister I remember when this happened and I thought the same thing at the time, and still do. It looked like he was being pulled out. I'm a huge skeptic of things such as that, but I know what I saw.

@dakotakaren I Had heard him say that too and when you look at him he his positioned oddly as he is getting out. ALmost like a PUSH up from someone dragging him out. Creepy. I think it was his dad.
