And the tug of war continues on Capitol Hill over extending the payroll tax cut that will expire at the end of the month - but not everyone in the one percent supports the Republican's agenda of protecting the interests of the super-rich at the expense of the 99 percent. The clocking is ticking down on Capitol Hill and the GOP seems completely unconcerned that their latest game of chicken may well cost YOU over a thousand dollars.

if we took every cent of every mega rich person we would not even come CLOSE to solving the debt that has been invented in America...does anyone really understand how big a trillion is? When Nick said, an economy properly understood, isn't like an ecosystem it actually is an ecosystem - instead of hoping for something to trickle down from the wealthy, the idea of promoting a healthy, working, prospering middle-class should be the focus, cuz it is a robust middle-class that makes the wealthy even wealthier.
