Does God give a mulligan (or do over) or has Christ already shot the perfect round for everyone who believes in Him? Well, according to Rick Warren, it's the former. Is what he's preaching the Gospel or is that another Gospel which is not another at all as Paul warns about? You can read up on this more in this post:

  • Your criticism is a twist of words on Rick Warren's message. Perhaps you are battling something, why bother looking at the speck in your brothers eye while you have a plank in yours?

  • Ooooo, yeah. Great rebuttal. I wish I would have never put that video up now after your insightful comment.

  • Jesus doesnt give do-overs.He forgives SIN...why does warren have so much trouble with that word.Mabe hes afraid of making sinners squirm in their lukewarm pew.

  • Rick warren needs to shut up. These men who call themselves preachers diminish God's glory by preaching non sense and man centered messages.

  • The only good and constructive criticism made by this guy is the last bit dealing with God's love or fury. God does not love evil but loves people and wants them to change. God does not like people that do evil acts and is against them, but because He is so loving, He gives them chances upon chances to repent and do good. So really, even this last criticism is also a bit too harsh. People are trying their best to preach God's message of Love, so please but don't cruciify them so non-chalantly.

  • yes we had a 1st chance. Remember Adam in the garden of Eden? He was given a choice or chance to obey God but failed and now with coming of Jesus, we have a 2nd chance to obey (listen to) Jesus and live that eternal and joyful life God purposed for us from the foundation of the earth. Really, this critique is baseless. Jesus warned us not to attack each other. He that is not against us is with us. Let the guy make his own video based on his knowledge but can't go attacking people's effort.

  • The guy posting this is way off mark. You can't go attacking people trying to use all kinds of arguement like apostle Paul to convey and convince them of the love and sacrifice of Christ. Jesus did the same by using parables and analogies. This guy wants peoople to check every word that comes out of their mouth to the extent that all they can do is parrot the 10 commandments. Who will listen to such a dull and really empty message. Like Jesus warned, the letter killeth.

  • more men speaking of things from a fleshly mind which they have not seen....the people perish from lack of vision of the unseen things which make up the things that are seen. does the phrase, they have not entered the Kingdom of heaven and keep others from doing so strike a familar note to ya. where is the power? the speaker and rick warren are both as blind as bats.

  • anyone like rick warren who's working w/ the obama administration so closely & is being championed 2 some extent by the new york times is clearly not of God. if U really preach the unadulterated word of God, this world's power structures aren't going to accept and champion U. no, their spirit is 2 treat anyone truthful in the same manner that the power structure treated Christ. the power structure accepts him because on the surface it appears moral, but they know its really like their spirit.

  • This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

  • rick clearly doesn't understand the depravity of man and the holiness of god. wow.
