Everyone thinks we are uneducated hicks because of videos like this.
Our town is nothing like this video,, its just like every other small town.. and btw.. mosT people who live are tired of hearing of the "mayberry" Crap!

Despite the name of this establishment being mentioned in one (and only one...in the first season) episode of TAGS, Andy Griffith has said repeatedly, on the record, that he didn NOT base Mayberry on Mt. Airy. Andy didn't even come up with the name Mayberry.
