@nerblebun The housing bubble started our economy's recession. This problem happened because of Clinton's Fair Housing Act which gave home loans 2 unqualified borrowers. These loans were through Fannie & Freddie and given to minorities and the poor who couldn't afford them. Some didn't even have jobs & also some were not legal citizens. When Bush President, he sought out the cause of the housing bubble & did request Fannie & Freddie 2 be investigated but Nancy Pelosi & Dems blocked the request

@nerblebun You obviously don't know the facts & don't read info or statistics from reliable news sources just making up things in your head in not reliable. Bush ran up an average of $410 billion in deficit spending per year, while Obama is running up an average of $1.413 trillion in deficit spending per year — or $1.003 trillion a year more than Bush...according to our Congressional Budget Office. I am Libertarian and vote as an Independent "continue next paragraph post"

@1destra Obama had nothing to do with the state of the economy. Eight years of Bush and Satan..er Cheney destroyed the surplus Clinton left behind and the mess was there the day Obama took office. I'm not a democrat..... I detest both parties equally.

@luvsyou7 Yes other Presidents have done this ... its a tradition and all the Presidents of the past have celebrated Easter on the White House lawn with the public. Believe me Obama hasn't done anything special except only collapsing the dollar and our economy.
