to be honest, i don't know what your example has to do with it. just that it pretty much sounds like some "De Mol" production which got SOLD to german tv. the point is: erobique is an excellent musician and live-performer as he is a very humourous person. singing "move your body" in german is out of pure fun and healthy self-irony. to think about if the original is better is just completely missing the point. you really should attend an erobique gig sometime. it's pure fun.

actually the original dutch actors of new kids do the voice over (only the sidekicks speak perfect german), and that authentic dutch accent is a huge part of the succuess in my opinion. i guess they dont even know what they are saying. it sounds so funny, you can only understand that if you are native german speaker ;)
