@terminator847 when you play the game press alt+crtl+del select the game in task mangr press right click select below transition in progress then right click again the exe and select set associations you must choose only 1 core of the cpu not 2 of them

I play on xp and the game crash at times. I save the game every time I take a ship or city or even get to a port to trade. If I crash I reload and do somthing differnt than last and things work. Saving very often works for me on xp.

Classic. So sad every old school game like gangsters 2 cutthroats red alert 2 they cant remake them. All need to be remade but keep the same idea just add things.

This is an all time classic! One game after 10 years that I can just keep picking up and playing, if only to find that treasure fleet and get my galleon! The art to playing is saving often as you can as I run XP and yes crashes but hey the game play far outweighs the hassle of reloading after couple of hours.
This is a must for any company to remake or just a copy of the DS would be nice as well :D

The trick to the crashes for me is to save VERY often.

@terminator847 As far i tried only luck is playing on XP or Win98...and still eventually crashes
