And an average SRW release in Japan only totals around 500k copies. So even if someone were to localize OGs for the NA market there's no realistic expectation of hitting even 10% of 500k. SRW is already a niche series in Japan, which relies to a significant extent on a loyal cult following rather than mainstream popularity or casual unplanned purchases for sales. It's economically unfeasible even without licensing. Besides, most overseas SRW fans are importers (or pirates) anyway.

Of the three released in the US, none are for playstation. The lack of games isn't due to sales figures of the two GBA or DS games, either... it's licensing. All of the Super Robot Wars games contain characters licensed to different companies in the US, which makes release here a nightmare. Original Generation, though, uses only characters created for that series. No gundam, Big O, Mazinger, etc.
