  • @mike3571 i know right haha. It's funny to hear the crowd all going crazy right after they've played an older song like mahgeetah or something like that, and then MMJ starts to play outta my system, and the crowd just dies. hahaha

  • @PleadThaFizif Apparently they do, they've played it in every setlist this year!

  • @mike3571 yeah i completely agree with you. I wasn't saying i didn't like Z or Evil Urges, I really liked Evil Urges and I think Z is a masterpiece. I just meant that that was when they're music started to change and they started evolving more. I just kinda hope they come back to basics for at least one more album in the future though. But I think its safe to say that no one like Outta My System hahaha

  • @PleadThaFizif I somewhat agre but not timelinewise. I think the dropoff is with Circuital which I think is very very weak compared to the masterpieces of It Still Moves, Z and Evil Urges. I think they explored new musical territories which is what all my favorite bands do. I am a huge MMJ fan and, apparently the only one who loves Evil Urges. But this new one is weak, though Istill think it is a good album. Outta my System is an awful song though.

  • @autumnspencer7 MMJ is still my favorite band, and I think that they are by far the best working band today. But I think their music has begun to drop in songwriting and sound. Z is where they kinda started changing their music, and Evil Urges was the point where you knew they changed. And I think Circuital is a good album, not great. And lets face it First Light and Outta My System are pretty bad and stupid songs, lyrically and musically. But I still LOVE MMJ. LONG LIVE MY MORNING JACKET!

  • @djammes

I saw Jacket last night in Georgia and these guys only get better and better. Jim James is among the most talented songwriters of his generation and this performance is a solid indicator of how bad ass he has always been and the promise his career has. viva MMJ and viva reverb!!
