6:40 is one of the greatest moments in music I've ever heard.

Such a perfect piece of music. It's hard to sit through the first 4.5 minutes, not because it's a bad song, but because the jam is just too god damn perfect.

you wanna here passion? halloween live. and to say they dont play with passion is BS. i went to alpine this year and he played halloween and for two step, you can hear it in his voice. and there out there having fun and doing what they love to do. and what you are i think is a good song so fuck whoever said that. to sum things up, DMB is a grrrreaaat band, and not every band makes a platinum selling album. so just back off and true fans dont get angry if theres a song they dont like. they listen

honelsty i dont liek people like you. taht judge a bands talent by there albums. how can you say that everyday is bad. you should respect the dave matthews band for making that album along with the rest of their work. so you should rephrase your words and say "everyday was not my favorite". but calling the album bad is just disrespecting the band. besides a TRUE fan would love all of the work that dave and the crew does, even if it is different from the rest.
Broadway..if you saw them this summer, then you would realize that your statement "They were hungry and played with passion. It has never been the same since "Everyday", is absurd and holds no validity, even if you have been a fan for "10 years". I have too, so I can also say Everyday, yes was bad, but saying they don't sing with "passion" is a joke. Have you listened to So Damn Lucky screaming from the Gorge?..thats passion.

I agree with Broadway to some extent, they have never been able to commence the entesity and full on speed of 98, which afterward seemed to become more mellow. 2008 was definetely close in comparison to 98 and was way better then the Everyday era as far as I am concerned.
