Miss Fabulosa Linguine appears in rare surviving footage from her short-lived daily television program "Girl Talk" (later changed to "Cit Ciat" because of threatened legal action by Martha Graham). This episode, which dates to early April, 1956, features Miss Linguine showing her own interesting method for baking a chocolate layer cake.
The following is an excerpt from Miss Linguine's life story, "Pasta Diva", written by Al Dilá -
"Disastrous attempts by viewers at home to replicate Miss Linguine's demonstrations resulted in her show being cancelled after less than a month on the air, despite fantastic ratings and a dedicated viewership. In a TV Guide interview at the time Miss Linguine said, 'It not matters, darling. I already enough the famous. And besides, I am too busy getting married to be making the daily TV program. Instead, I hope someday soon to make a TV special with guest stars and musical numbers.' That day would come on 1962."
