Chernobyl Zone: Kopachi

Kopachi is a village situated near the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, on the road from Chernobyl to Pripyat. Due to high level of radiation after the accident the village of Kophi was completel destroyed and buried.

@CakesNshit — Honestly, this being in the "Zone" I was afraid a lot possible injury more than a contamination — e.g. during my 2nd trip in early spring, I had to be very careful on the ice in a Pripyat's buildings

Today, after more than 25 y., the activity of radioactive isotopes is lower there, not only as a result of their decay, but primarily as a result of their DISPERSION

If in the Kopachi would be a 1 gram of Cs-137, the dosimeters will show 285,000 µSv/h (sic!) — not faint under 1 µSv/h
