The blonde girl with a cigarette is Rita Hayworth, in the movie "the lady from shanghai", directed by Orson Welles, her husband at that time. Look for the song "Please don´t kiss me", that she sings in this movie. She is stunning and the music is beautiful. But is not Rita that appears with Monty Clift. That another blond is Anne Baxter.

My mum heard this song in the hospital just after she had me - hence my name! Thank you Mr Frank Sinatra...such a beautiful song! Also, I love old Hollywood stuff, so - great video.
