@comundson They didn't :( The award (Best New Artist) was given to Sade. They were nominated, though. I remember everybody standing up and clapping after their performance. I guess we all thought (even those of us watching it through TV) they would get the Award, but was not meant to be :(

@apehog check the rest of their stuff..they have very few exceptions that are happy songs..most of their legacy is very deep..really nothing to do with this!

Im not a big fan anymore of music with a happy tone like happy hardcore, or techno/pop. But this song is really good. There can be exceptions like this one.

I remember watching this as a teen. I kept thinking to myself that Mort had such chiseled cheekbones that you could probably cut diamonds with them. He was (and is) hyper-handsome.

According to a recent interview this (at the grammy awards) was the first time that Morten sang live with the group. The band was playback but Morten was live! Must have been a baptism of fire to perform live for the first time at the Grammies!
