Twas a dark night on Corescant and all through the base
Not a Jedi was stirring, not Yoda or Mace
The lightsabers hung on their belts with care
In hopes that the chosen one, soon would be there

The Younglings were nestled all in their beds
While visions of star maps danced in their heads
With clones in their armor and I in with my Cap
Our squads marching towards Jedi were closing the gap

When out in the Temple there arose such a clatter
Jedi sprang from their beds to see what was the matter
Away in the hanger, I flew with a flash
Grabbed my blaster and threw on my sash

When what to my infra-red goggles appeared
But a whole lot of Jedi and a whole lot of fear

With that little old green guy, so quick to attack
I knew it was Yoda, so I sorta fell back
He charged towards the temple, he and Ben came
And he whistled, talked backward and called out some names

Wheres Mace, wheres Aayla, Plo Kloon and Shaak Ti?
Wheres Quinlen? Wheres Simms and wheres Ki-Adi?
Say I do, to one and to all! Out of the temple fore it will fall!

And then with a cackle, I heard up in a room
The fighting and clashing and then a big boom
As I drew my blaster and was ready to pounce
Down came Mace Windu with a thud and a bounce

He was dressed brown robes, from his head to his foot
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot
He was flung out the window and onto his back
He looked like a Jedi, except being all flat

Now the Emperor had come, his laugh was so merry
His cheeks were so pale, his face was quit scary
His pale little mouth was drawn in a smile
With some Jedi surprised and still in denial.

He was small and slumped over, not like himself
And I laughed at his face, but kept that to myself
A wink of his eye and a thrust from his hand
Lightning came out, turning jedi to sand

He just kept laughing, his body did jerk
As the clone troopers came and continued his work
A hood covered his head, except for his nose
As he gave a quick laugh, to the Counsel Chamber he rose

Yoda sprang to a speeder and gave Bale a quick nod
As Yoda retreated to a planet of bog
With his tail tween his legs like a little, scared pup
Screaming, This isnt over, for Padmas been knocked up.
