Oriland exhibition by Yuri and Katrin Shumakov was held in Toronto Downtown, Spring 2009. On display, there was one of Oriland Kingdoms - SunCity, full of amazing paper creations: Sun Castle, goblins and wizards, dragons, princesses, trees and flowers, sailing ships and sea creatures, even a dinosaur skeleton and so much more! Everything here was designed and folded from paper without cutting and gluing by the artists Yuri & Katrin Shumakov. Read more & see photos at

@ssnneejjkkoo Hi, it's hard to say how long it took to make it, as different designs presented here were made in different years... For instance, the castle... the designing and folding of it took about half of year. The tall ship took about the same time... so you got the idea. Actually this is just a part of the larger display, where we do have 8 paper kingdoms with different castles and architecture. Ah yes, to jump into you have to be a little paper person :-)

@ssnneejjkkoo Believe it or not it is one of the most frequent questions we are getting during exhibitions. Yes, it's only paper! Different types of paper from copy paper to fine Japaense paper.
