End Tiger Trade Now

More than 30 organisations, representing millions of people around the world, are calling upon the Chinese government to stand firm, to maintain its 14-year tiger trade ban, to close down tiger farms and to increase investment in stopping illegal tiger trade.

Losing the wild tiger will be a shameful indictment on all of us. The success of our collective desire to save wild tigers depends on action.

Tigers need the same kind of committed action that governments use when combating gunrunners and drug traffickers, for it is often the very same criminals that are smuggling tiger parts.

Our lives are connected to the tiger, through culture, religion, and the ecosystems they live in that we depend upon.

Don't close your eyes to what's happening.
Ask your government ask China to make its tiger trade ban permanent.

It's like what they do in every country of the world. They sentence them to something like 10 to 20 years, but after one year, maybe even one month, week or day they're released. Why? The bail is set at such a low cost that someone will be set free very soon and hunt on animals again and again. Another reason is that jails are maybe getting too crowded so they have to release imprisoners cause of the lack of space. Even I don't say that death sentence makes sense.

Tiger farms are a good thing and a bad thing. Tiger farms a good because that they help stop the killing of wild tigers but they still need to improve there facilities and kill the tiger's in a more humane way that clubing them or shooting.
