RON PAUL - A New Hope - Classic
Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation's capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the "one exception to the Gang of 535" on Capitol Hill. He makes it clear that his principles will never be compromised, and they never are."

Yes, Paul voted to give our tax money to the people in power dishing out the genocide. Luckily, the other 418 voting members understood the insanity of his position, and voted to spend our tax money at home instead.
Changing the subject to Frederick Douglass doesn't help. Paul voted against the MLK holiday---twice!!!---and BRAGGED about defying the wishes of Libertarian Party members to do so. He called MLK a plagiarist, a Communist, and even a gay child rapist. It's no wonder you defend him!
Actually even now there are legislatures from 21 states saying that the fed is being unconstitutional and referring to the 10th. Several states are also declaring this (mostly southern) A few are Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Missouri, not to mention Montana. If You really care support it.
@evangrogers Sadly that extremely important amendment is being widely ignored. (If you care about it now Montana is in a case now fighting for there rights in this. You should support it.)
@100georgespatton Of course i'm right, look at the 10th amendment - it clearly states that ANY power not 1- expressly granted to the Federal Government or 2-specifically DENIED to each state, is granted to the states or people.
This can ONLY be translated to mean that we are a group of individual countries (states) that each collectively gave up but a few of their powers for greater defense/whatever.
Your argument about helping Darfur is also foolish.
Who would we give the money to? The people in power dishing out the genocide? The only way to successfully dole out the goods to the people who need them would be to launch an invasion of the country and have our troops dish the food out. Then we'd just have another quagmire.
You blame Ron Paul for not doing this, but I blame the rest of congress for not demanding a military invasion of Darfur.
Ron Paul has said numerous times that MLK is one of his heroes.
I think that you personally are racist - why aren't you demanding a Frederick Douglass national Holiday? He is truly a man worthy of it, and, CLEARLY, anyone who doesn't work towards having the holiday is a racist.
FREDERICK DOUGLASS DAY, September 3rd!! Any person who DOESN'T work actively to get this day a national holiday is a racist and "HatesBlacks"!

I googled "Montana 10th Amendment" and found "Montana Firearms Freedom Act"... That's what you're talking about?

... you can see why your argument is foolish.
