I must agree and say that no one has been able to do a good Lovecraft movie. Although I would definately choose Stuart Gordon's DAGON way over Re-Animator.

thanks for this, great to hear him talk about lovecraft, I saw alien about 60 times when it came out (insane, I know), I think carpenter mouth of madness ia a successful lovecraft themed film too
