Scenes come and go wherever you live. Fort Wayne is small, but there are a lot of loyal people out there who have made the scene great. It's too bad some people lose faith in Fort Wayne and they move in hopes of being spoiled by a big city. I guess the scene is always better somewhere else. It's easy being spoiled by a big city, there's a bigger pool of people to make a scene happen. It's not the city, it's what you do in your city to make it better. Contribute! Don't just be a spectator.

I can't enjoy this song when I live in Fort Lame and feel nothing that Frank Black describes in this song towards the city. Thank God I'm moving come winter.

@guitpik - wow! i remember that gas station from when i was a little kid (i moved to ft. wayne when i was 12). amazing. good for them, sticking around through it all. i remember hope missionary church just down the road from it and the t-ball diamond at the other end of town. good old bluffton. crazy!

@ToriiHunterFan The internet has a much better memory than I do. The short stop is still there, within a mile of a super Walmart. Every other gas station in a 2 mile radius has ceased to exist. Anyway, Good song! Power to you, Buddy!
Stupidly good.
