Chancellor Angela Merkel is devoting part of the summer to visiting the medium-sized companies that have been especially hard-hit by the financial crisis - but which can't rely on government bail-outs,unlike the major German companies.We report from an engineering firm in Thüringen and head to the small town of Krauchenwies in Baden-Württemberg,where a globe manufacturing business is desperately trying to stay afloat - to find out how the public feels about the chancellor's current display of sympathy.
