Kid Icarus Glitches

First one: Look at his health at the top-right. He gets hit and enters the door at the same time (which is harder than it looks), so he's in the next room with an empty life bar. Touching the lava has some underflow or something and his health goes back to full. Touching anything besides lava will kill Pit. And no he doesn't get 255 health or whatever, once his "new" health is gone, he's finished.

Second one: RAPID FIRE. Everytime Pit uncrouches, he can shoot another arrow. So crouch one frame, shoot the next. 30 shots per second. It looks like he's just crouching or standing because of youtube's 30FPS.

Third: This one goes by fast, but I fall through the platform, clip into the wall and do a WALLJUMP.

Fourth: Entering the famous ICARUS FIGHTS MEDUSA ANGELS password, TAS style.

Fifth: Wall clip. I've been pushed through an entire wall once...

Hmm, this doesn't have that one glitch in world 2, where you can walk through the wall that's on the beginning and end of the levels. It's very similar to the SMB1 "World -1" trick in that you jump backwards into the top of the wall, but it's much easier to execute. And it serves no real purpose.

I felt like such a badass when I found that on my own back in '90 or '91 :)

I played the game boy version. The sun at the end of the credits gave me nightmares. 0_0
