Really hope I can go to this.

"So your event brags about believing in nothing then? Atheist? What's so great about that?"
The event celebrates that the U.S. is a nation where you CAN beleive in No God, 1 God, or the Thousands of Gods of the Sumerian system.
Rather than endorsing a religion, it is a testment to the secular freedoms that this nation is based on, and that soldiers, including myself as a Paratrooper at that very base, risked life and limb to defend.
It is the true spirit of this nation

I left Bragg in 2001,
Not being there to help with this is the 1st time Ive wished I were still there.
I got married while I was in and the officers actualy tried to tell me I had to have a Chaplin sign off on it 1st.
I went behind there back on a 3 day weekend
Religious Bias in the Gov. especialy the military has got to stop.
To fight for the 1st amendment while its being ignore is beyond hypocritical

I hope we get stuff like this at more installations. I get a bit tired of the Army putting together special events just for Christians or theists and looking at those of us who aren't and saying "oh, well, you're not being FORCED to do it." Bravo Sierra. Giving special privileges based on religion is discrimination regardless of whether it's optional, and when the Army is actively endorsing it I expect to get a secular option, thank you very much.

@thomaserossi Wow, did know they still have the old 1930's evangelical programming. that's how we got into the Vietnam War(and lost), because some moron made dumb fucks like you believe that Communist would invade America after taking over Asia. Hate, attack ,blamelies and denial are all things history has proven RELIGION to be apart of. Do you want a list of events that happened do to RELIGION from 2000-2011? Maybe further back in time will suite you?

@thinker900 - Hate, attack, blame, lie, deny. No wonder Atheism and Communism go hand-and-glove.

This SGT is what we call a Shit Bag! The few Atheist who cant handle that we have a CONSTITUTIONAL Freedom of Religion and YOU lil atheist do not have to go. I would say if this concert criticizes or demonizes people who believe in something (ie Religion) then it would be characterized as "Hate Speech". To bad I wont be here to go and show support for my belief in God and still try to have a good time, which is what this is supposed to be about. Funny how atheist politicize everything

This thing is back on, by the way. Rock Beyond Belief = March 31st 2012! WHOOHOO!!
-
@msqared80 LOL....no lie, I was about to type that XD.

Be sure to get "Greydon Square" as an artist too! I am sure he could use the publicity as an atheist rapper who refuses to sign a label... ;-D
That's fucked up! I'll fight with you, though I'm not an atheist. I don't think that anyone should forced into anything they don't want to be apart of and not be persecuted for not participating.

Big corporate freeloaders like GE pay no taxes, and then what money we do have in our coffers gets squandered on saving souls? I'd rather help people keep body and soul together, thank you very much.
