Also, GWB didn't exactly earn his money. If he did, please, give me documentation and statistics, and by that I mean reliable sources. Furthermore, most people know GWB owns oil. Which is how he directly profited from America invading a country with oil.

Jobs come from where? - employers. People produce the products how - by having jobs. Jobs come from where? - employers. Education is paid with what? Money. Money comes from where? Jobs. Yea all the workers and the rest of society did was produce all the products he peddles, built all the roads he peddles them on, developed and maintained the legal system he requires to be able to do it and also pay the repressive forces to enforce the system, paid to educate his workforce and possibly even him. My liberal mother married a conservative man just last year. Unfortunately, she hasn't managed to change his mind yet. Miraculously, and I'm not certain how this works, they can actually enjoy being with one another and love one another. I don't understand how this works.

@wolfofsummerbreeze - get your statistics in order before you start spouting nonsense. The top 1% pay 39% of all taxes, the top 50% pay 97% of all taxes.

The owner of a company did all the hard work to build that company, takes all the financial risks, pays all the taxes and insurance. The employee did none of that. Therefore the owner deserves to reap as much of the the benefits if his sacrifice as possible. Life isn't fair - better get used to it.

@Jowind - not true. The four years following the implementation of Bush tax cuts saw an increase in revenue to the Fed govt. higher than any in the history of the US. Thats documented FACT. So your argument about the Laffer curve being refuted "by academic economists" is rendered useless.

Sadly, the rich don't actually pay as much in taxes as the poor. While I do think that you have a right to make money, and you probably deserve money for your hard work, you should be paid only about twice as much as the lowest person you employ as full-time staff. That's a lot more money for your effort, some of it which you don't need, and I mean NEED. It still would leave a ton, if used wisely, for comforts. And fairness is something to strive for everywher
