Footloose Vs Zac Efron

So for a long time there was the idea that Zac was going to play Ren in the new Footloose film, this video came about from my boredom and reaction to that rumour. Sadly since its been made official that Zac won't be in the film as he doesn't want to get typecast for musical roles. Shame I say but maybe they'll get someone even better :)

ok no offense but i don't think that any of you can comment of zac's acting because i highly doubt that all of you can do what he's done the past few years. i also highly doubt that even if you were an actor, you wouldn't make it to the big screen like he has. he didn't ruin the movies he's been in, he's just done what he was told to do. deal with it. that's how remakes are, they'll never be the same as the first no matter how hard you want them to be. :\

I loved him in Hairspray, I haven't seen the High School Musicals so I can't comment on them, but I do think he has the potential to be a great lead if its written well enough for him, I always felt he could have done more in Hairspray.

Derek Hough should do the remake of this movie. Derek is the only person I can think of that would actually be as good or better than Kevin Bacon.Derek's the best dancer on the planet, a singer who just signed a record deal, and he can even do all the flips and gymnastics himself without a stunt double. Derek played Ren in the Footloose stage production in London's West End to rave reviews in 2007. He would be perfect. Zac can't do this movie.

I was actually surprised how well these meshed.

I'm a little horrified, as this song is from HSM, but you blended them really well and the video was pretty dang good!

TONS better than the vid of Efron paired with the track "Never", perhaps because KB can actually DANCE!!

Oh thank you, I am so glad that Zac wont be doing Footloose....it would have definitely ruined the best 80's movie, seriously. It wouldnt have been good.....
