Art Bell: Red Light Camera Conspiracy? (Part One)

(THIS SKETCH REQUIRES 'LISTENING', AS IT IS A TALK RADIO IMPERSONATION) Inspired by the work of Phil Hendrie, master of radio voices, Connie Bryan takes you on a 'night drive' with a funny spoof of legendary Art Bell and Coast to Coast. In this 'lost episode' (maybe it should have remained lost)... "Art" interviews the Sacramento President of 'Women in Business', "Karen Blakeman"...MUCH more proud of her patriotic status as an American "Soccer Mom",and very eager to expose a conspiracy to Coast to Coast listeners, Karen tries to convince Art she has an obvious 'parental right' to arbitrarily run red lights 'when it's safe to do so' in performing her motherly duties. She proclaims her city's use of photo enforced red light cameras amounts to 'financial rape' by Mayor Kevin Johnson, and a "conspiracy" against motherhood!
