今回ソニックが登場することになった物語は「アーサー王と円卓の騎士」。
中世ヨーロッパを舞台に剣と魔法の世界、荘厳なお城やドラゴンも登場します。
岩にささった聖剣とは？円卓の騎士達との戦いの行方は？そして、アーサー王の存在とは？
物語はハラハラドキドキの展開です。Wiiリモコンを剣のように振るだけでソードアクションが楽しめるのはもちろん、ソニックらしく超高速で駆け抜ける爽快感も味わえます­。
様々なルールとキャラを選んで2人～4人で対戦できるバトル、ランキングやアイテムプレゼントなどWi-Fiコネクションへの対応、ムービーやお宝アイテムなど様々なコン­テンツの収集など、多彩なモードでやり込み要素も満載！

@pkstarstorm1up Why do you need to explore? You run straight ahead, and don't go back for anything... In the Black Knight it's the same, the only difference is that the Black Knight has alternate routes, but they still go straight ahead... Oh yeah, and you are aware that they use the exact same engine right...?

@pkstarstorm1up I disagree, he is perfectly controllable, you just have know how to do it right. He doesn't move backwards well, but you barely ever have to do that... In black knight, I do admit he controlled better, but that was only because you actually controlled his forward-backward movement, as opposed to breaking and creeping backwards. I'm not really going to debate it though, cuz we both know they are nowhere near as good as the old games!

@pkstarstorm1up I disagree. I think S&tSR was a good game, but with no real replayability. While S&tBK was a hardly fun, poorly put together game, still with no replayability...
