A lot of people don't realize it, but through ballot petitioning we are evangelizing. We are challenging hearts and minds to be transformed from a culture of death to the culture of life. When we meet people in need, we can pray and the Holy Spirit ministers to them.

  • This is going nowhere in the law believe me

  • So why even bother saying anything?

You should just ignore us then.

  • this is going nowhere in the law. Embryos are not viable and the mother is the patient. But I'll be here to say I told you so after you waste the court's time and the taxpayers money......... now don't you have a women's clinic to bomb or a doctor to murder?

I don't suppose that you southern religious extremists can explain why there have been over 79 million spontaneous or "god" abortion over the last 10 years. Save an embryo .... neglect the living .... what a nutjob

  • homicide violates a legal person rights to their bodies, when abortion doesn't violates a fetus because a fetus is not a legal person.

why do you people compare abortions of non-feeling and or aware fetuses to BORN people?

your question should be: when does a human becomes a legal person? BIRTH.

being human doesn't stop you from being killed by the government.

and you need to stop lying the embryo doesn't become a fetus until week 12 not 8.

  • Its simple two humans have sex and the sperm enters the egg what do you have. A human life...... what is a human that is real young ? a Baby thats right its a human Baby its real simple to anyone wanting to admit the truth.

  • its not "person" UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE SLAVES.... its "PEOPLE" as in "WE THE PEOPLE"

  • As long as you are making up your own definitions of things, I think you should go further, and make "Person" include male sperm and female eggs.

This way, women can be arrested each time we menstruate, and you, when ever you jack off.

  • I beveave abortion is wrong , there no suck thing a life being an accendent , (there blessing. )unless its from an ilegle alein,

  • Actually, the most recent data reflect that six in ten abortions are performed within eight weeks gestation (please, feel free to research this fact) and 60% is considered a majority (unless you're using some seriously creative math.) So my statement is accurate as written. Further, these inane "personhood" measures claim that a "person" is present upon conception (again, feel free to research this fact.) And lastly, I agree with the law as it stands... a compelling interest exists at viability.

  • There are practically no surgical abortions prior to six weeks. Most women would not know they were pregnant then. An embryo technically becomes a fetus around 8 weeks.

9.45 weeks gestation is the average time of an abortion.

The Personhood Amendment says a human being is a person from the beginning of biological development.

When do YOU think a human being becomes a person and ought to be protected by law?

  • Just two quick things... first of all, the most recent data reflect that the majority of abortions are prior to eight weeks (just a little over 60%) which means that that majority are performed during the embryonic stage of a pregnancy. You may wish to alter your statement of "Almost none" unless you believe the use of misinformation is an effective arguing tool. Further, you're incorrect when you opine that as many people die per year as zygotes/embryo's fail... it's not even close.

  • The point you bring up about spontaneous of abortions is a good one. A large number of newly don't implant and naturally die. Does that mean that willful, elective abortion should be legal?

At least as many adult human beings die each year. Does that mean homicide should be legal?

How many blastocysts or embryos are aborted each year by elective abortion? -- Almost none. Almost all abortions are done after six weeks.

The question is: At what point does this human life become a person?

  • Sorry, abortionkillsboobies, I don't even know how to begin to respond. I guess that means you won the argument. :)
