Therapy for narcs? Yeah right... all it does is make them more self-involved. But I guess I shouldn't be so doubtful... they've got to do SOME thing! They drive nearly everyone around them crazy.

Also I feel really bad for my grandmother, nobody wants to know her now and she had therapy for a while when I was younger but she does not want to be helped because she sees herself as a victim not a persecutor. I stay in contact with her because despite how badly she can behave she is human too and needs someone. I often wish that she would accept help but you can force people into seeking help :(

My grandmother has narcissistic personality disorder, this video also describes her to a T. NPD is not the same as somebody who is narcissistic. It's easy to confuse the two and assume that this so called disorder is just a label to justify why jerks are jerks but seriously NPD is far more complex.
