KW Shrine Circus protest

On June 24th, 2008, the Citizens against circus cruelty held a protest outside Waterloo memorial recreational centre against the Shrine Circus.

Yeah, they do a great job making the animals "look" fine... They are professionals, and they know how to make things look a certain way - Just like all the sweatshops worldwide that get passing grades on their inspections because they make the factories look good for inspection day -but I can assure you behind closed door when the people are gone the slave workers and the animals at the circus are not fine.

with 22 childrens hospitals that help children for FREE absolutely NO cost to their family. I'd say the Shriners and their circus are relieving alot of human suffering.

Unfortunately I was sick this weekend when the Shrine Circus was in Madison, but my letter of protest was printed in the Sunday paper and hopefully changed some minds!

Unfortunately the vast majority of people who attend the circus have no clue that the animals have a miserable existence with unimaginable suffering throughout their entire lives. Your protest will make the people think. Thank you for having the passion and courage to protest this event.

Everyone who watchs this-Make sure you write a letter to the editor about the circus, and a letter to thier municpalities asking them to ban animal circus's in your area! Thanks again KWAAG!
