unfortunately a lot of trush about Alexandr Solzhenitsyn still is coming from some people,but they did kill Jesus Christ why they would stop before other people.......

Unfortunately, I'm not sure Solzhenitsyn is discussed all that much in US schools...Hope I am wrong. His "Gulag Archipelago" was a major cultural phenomenon when I was in college in the 70's! But Solz. fell out of fashion..!

Few have the convictions of Solzhenitsyn. His passing is a loss to the world. More of us should have a taste of the loss of freedom so we would appreciate what we have. A vote for Obama is a vote for Marxism. Solzhenitsyn wouldn't approve.

Read online Solzhenitsyn's Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech. It's a short commentary on the power of Art (in his case - writing) to work for justice. Also read his 1978 Harvard speech. Lots of truth in his claims of Western decline in courage. He learned courage in a Communist prison camp (and put the word "Gulag" into the English Language in the 1970's).
